Community Garden: Greetings everyone, it’s time for your favourite news reporter to give you the scoop on what’s happening in Willowbrooke this arvo. Today we’ll be taking a look at the local community garden that’s just opened up!

 Recently, Timmy Blueback the Blue-tongued lizard has set up a community garden next to the library, and has invited the citizens of Willowbrooke to take part in its opening. And what an opening this is! Everyone in Willowbrooke’s come along to contribute something to the community garden, how amazing! Timmy’s started off by planting a few tomato and squash seeds.

Bella Bounce the brush-tailed possum, who helped Timmy with the community garden’s grand opening has planted a wattles shrub, and some rose, fuchsias, and gardenias seeds. Will they be for eating, or for decorating? We’ll have to find out later! Bobby Frogsworth the motorbike frog has planted lots of stuff! Rosemary, basil, peppers, beets, onions, carrot, and cabbage seeds. Could he be working on his next big recipe? Finn Furseal the Fur Seal has planted… Squid tentacles and some fish scales? Well, it’s the thought that counts.

Peppermint Burrows the European Rabbit planted some cilantro and parsley seeds, as well as a few parsnip and yam seeds. She could be hoping to get some new stock for her shop. And I, Olive Quill the illustrious Boobook Owl have planted a mix of carrot, kale, and spinach seeds. Well my lovely viewers, that’s all we have to show off for today.
